This months tip is for both kids and adults and it is just a make you think, couple of paragraphs on sun exposure to your skin.
Though most of my past history is with minor surgeries and skin freezes there has not been a year in the last 20 that I have not had some form of skin removal "cancer" due to my exposure to the sun. I remember when I was a young boy it was cool to get a sun burn and super cool to have a tan. I remember laying out in the sun as young boy with my grama, she would put an M on my stomach with surgical tape and rob mineral oil with iodine in it all over me so that I would get "maximum" color.
Melanoma is a deadly form of skin cancer due to exposure from the sun. The financial costs and scars due to the removal of non lethal skin cancer can be avoided by using a wide brimmed hat a loose fitting shirt with a collar and just important, sun screen with a minimum of 50 SPF can save your finances, scarring, premature aging of your skin and quite possibly your life.
